  • Download IGI2-Multiplayer Server File and Extract.​
  • Open Server file and Configure Networkconfig.cfg file according to you Need.
  • Run Sv commander and your server it will be available to everyone on IGI-2 Multiplayer Launcher.
  • You must need Port Open/Forward for your Server visible on multiplayer launcher.
  • Thats It ! Your server is running now .
  • Enjoy Now to Play.

HOW TO CREATE DEDICATED SERVER  [ OLD METHOD ]
HOW TO CREATE DEDICATED SERVER

Instruction :
  • At first you should to open port/port forwarding. [ Look The port forwarding Deatails Below ].
  • Create a shortcut of your igi2.exe.
  • Now right click on it and open properties.
  • Now in target box put a space at the end and write ( window quite serverdedicated port26001 level03 ).
  • If you want to run different maps then put level01, level02, level03, level04 or level05.
    - 01 ->Redstone, 02 ->Forestraid, 03 ->Sandstorm, 04 ->Timberland, 05 ->Chinese Temple.
  • Now click on apply and then click on ok.
  • Then double click on your igi2.exe shortcut.
  • Your dedicated server is created.
  • Don't Forget to configure Networkconfig.cfg   File.


HOW TO OPEN PORTS 
 
           Unblocking ports is very important because if your ports are blocked then your server is not going to be visible for others in the server list (search internet) or players will not be able to join your server because it will not respond if the ports are blocked so follow the steps given below to help you make your server visible and playable for everyone.

Instruction :
  • (In windows XP  go to run and type cmd) or (In windows 7 go to startup and in search programs type cmd) and hit enter command prompt will appear.
  • Now in cmd type ipconfig and hit enter there you will see your IP address and default Gateway etc.
  • Now open your browser and type your default Gateway in the address bar and hit enter.
  • when you type your default Gateway in your browser it will ask for username and password type admin for both if u didn't put a password manually.
  • Now every router has different settings so find NAT and open it.
  • In NAT there you will find virtual server or server etc so click on virtual server or server or Port Forwarding.
  • In the virtual server there you will see start port number and end port number.
  • So in start port number type 26001 and in end port number type 26015 and select your protocol UDP.
  • There you will also see local IP address or IP address etc so type your IP address there if you don't know your IP address follow step 2 above.
  • Write your application name IGI 2 Covert Strike if it asks for it.
  • Now save or submit.
  • It's done you have opened your ports.
HOW TO TURN OFF WINDOWS FIREWAL


How To Turn Off Windows FireWall In windows 7:
  • In windows, 7 go to the start menu and open control panel.
  • Now In control panel open windows firewall.
  • When it is opened now turn off the windows firewall there. 
  • No further steps needed you have turned off your windows firewall.

How To Turn Off Windows FireWall In windows XP:
  • In windows, XP go to my computer and open control panel. 
  • Now In control panel open windows firewall.
  • When it is opened now turn off windows firewall there.
  • No further steps needed you have turned off your windows firewall.



HOW TO CREATE MULTIPLE DEDICATED SERVERS 

Instruction :
  • First you must know how to create a dedicated server if you don't know then go to  How To Make Dedicated ServerTab.
  • When you created a shortcut of igi2.exe to make dedicated server you write ( window quiet serverdedicated port26001 level03 ). 
  • So make another shortcut of your igi2.exe and write ( window quiet serverdedicated port26002 level03 ).
  • You can make up to 15 dedicated servers by making shortcuts of your igi2.exe and putting ports 26001 to 26015.
  • Your Multiple dedicated servers are created.


HOW TO CREATE NON-DEDICATED SERVERInstruction:

  • Open your IGI2 Game.
  • Now in the main menu go to multiplayer option and click on start server.
  • Now set the options and click on Start. 
  • Your non-dedicated server is created.
